Jon and Trudy
We knew this was going to be a Classic Tuscan wedding...
Our couple Jon & Trudy are passionate about classic Italian wine, regional cuisine and sun drenched vineyard vistas - so where better to have a Tuscan wedding than in the rolling hills of the Chianti Classico region.
Villa Vistarenni is a 17th century villa and untapped gem hidden in the hills a short drive from Sienna. Our couple chose to set their gorgeous tables on the sun terrace looking over the stunning vineyard and valley with the ceremony taking place on the grounds between processional poplar trees and beneath the picturesque chapel.
Between local cocktails served on balconies, and the 4 course dinner below, guests could be found enjoying hidden lounges and nooks as well as stunning rooms complete with vintage Tuscan furniture, high ceilings and exposed beams. The Vistarenni retains its original architectural features with frescoes, decorated ceilings, and draperies and paintings, making it not only a stunning location for an event but an unforgettable experience for guests' stay.
In the days before the event our groom gathered the boys for a very special wine tasting night with a selection of the super Tuscan wines, local cheeses, meats & cigars. It's not every day you get to open a magnum of Tignanello by Marchesi Antinori, amongst other Italian red wines.
Whether you are looking for a glass of stunning Sassicaia by Tenuta San Guido, a robust Ornellaia red from Bolgheri, or simply a gorgeous local Chianti classico, this region makes our job just that little bit easier for those seeking quality at the right price. Our couple proved that you can certainly have an affordable wedding in Tuscany with a little local help.
The beauty of a Rossini destination wedding in Tuscany is that you have your closest friends and family for a few days, plenty of time to turn your celebration into a memorable getaway ticking all the must-see moments.
